About Us
Mission Statement

Assistance League of Santa Clarita is a nonprofit service organization of volunteers committed to identifying and serving the needs of the Santa Clarita Valley through philanthropic programs developed and administered by its members.
Purpose

We act as a friend at any and all times to men, women and children in need of care, guidance and assistance-emotionally, materially and physically. We seek to fulfill this mission in our community by providing clothing, education and emotional support to families, the elderly and the disabled.
National Assistance League®

There are over 120 chapters of National Assistance League stretching across the United States. In the last ten years the 24,000 members of Assistance League have returned over 110 million dollars to their local communities and volunteered a total of over 18 million hours. Assistance League members make a difference in so many ways, providing physical, financial and emotional support to their local communities. Each chapter tailors its programs to meet the specific needs of its community. Assistance League continues to uphold the vision of its founder, Mrs. Hancock Banning, who felt a duty, in her own words, “to act as a friend at any and all times to men, women and children in need of care, guidance and assistance.”
